How is your degree progressing? What courses are you taking at the moment? When the diploma finished and what are your plans after that?

I am done with my degree. My classes ended and I am just waiting on my results which will be released on the 15^th of December. I am applying for jobs so hopefully by next year I will have a fulltime job.

What else is going on in South Africa and Cape Town at the moment?

There have been rumours that Covid is back, but nothing is official yet. The crime rate in South Africa is increasing heavily. The cost of living has gone up and the unemployment rate keeps rising by the day. It is difficult finding a job even if you have the qualifications.

What are your plans for the next few weeks? Are you planning anything fun now that summer is almost there?

I am just busy with work because it is getting busy now that the summer is here. I don’t really have any plans for the summer, all I want to do is spend time with my loved ones.

How are your jobs going?

It is going well, work is getting busy now as there are more functions happening.
