March – April 2024
How is University going, what are you currently busy with?
University is going very well, but unfortunately, I haven’t been there physically. But so far everything about being a UWC student is pretty good, I am currently busy with my Assignments.
When did your classes start and which classes are you taking? How is your workload?
My classes started on the 4th of March 2024, and I managed to take all the first semester classes. I cannot complain about the workload because personally I like academic pressure and I am not busy with anything else besides school.
What have you been up to the last two months?
I was busy with looking for a job and also my schoolwork.
What does a normal day look like for you? What do you like doing in your spare time?
I usually start my day with some exercise to clear my mind and prepare for the day. After that, I spend a few hours working on my research and my assignments. After that, I like to take some time for myself, whether that’s reading, taking a walk, or spending time with friends.
South Africa is slowly getting closer to Winter. What difference does that make for your daily life? What’s your favourite season and why?
This means the days are a bit shorter which is bringing a shift in my daily routine. My favourite season is Summer because it brings endless opportunities for outdoor activities and adventures, and the kind of clothes that we put on.
What are your plans for this year? What do you want to have achieved by the end of the year?
By the end of the year I want to bag myself an internship or any position in the field of sports, or even to volunteer with a local organisation that deals with sports. I want to make sure that I pass all my first and second semester modules. I would also like to visit at least one new country or city to experience different cultures and expand my world view.
Anything else you like to share?
I would like to thank Kulu Manzi once again for making my dream of studying masters come true.
